To maximise your time riding on the Emerald Isle you will spend your first night with Redee on board the ferry, crossing the Irish Sea from Liverpool-Birkenhead to Belfast. Once onboard you can settle down to chat with your guide and fellow Redee Adventurers, and the all important tour briefing ensuring you are fully prepared for your 10-day Irresistible Ireland Adventure.

Alighting the ferry at Belfast the most important part of the day is breakfast, Ireland style at The Harbour Cafe. Breakfast consumed you day begins with a glorious route along Northern Ireland's north Coast, with views aplenty. Today's route takes in the spectacular Causeway Coast offering stunning views at every turn before a break for coffee in the quaint coastal town of Portrush. Coffee and cake consumed you’re back on the road and countryside views abound as you ride towards Magilligan Point, taking the scenic Lough Foyle ferry for Greencastle. It's on the ferry that you leave the Causeway Coast and Northern Ireland behind and as you roll off the ferry enter the Republic of Ireland at Greencastle and your journey begins along the Wild Atlantic Way. You join the stunning coast road wending its way towards Ballygorman and lunch at the Seaview Tavern. Body refreshed and refuelled the adventure continues and the mystery of Ireland beckons you onward along the spectacular Inishowen Peninsula towards this evening’s destination, overlooking the beautiful sandy beaches of Lough Swilly.

Departing The Harbour Inn for a short ride before taking the Lough Swilly Ferry from Buncrana to Rathmullan. Following this delightful sailing across Lough Swilly the route follows the Knockalla Coast Road along the rugged Fanad Peninsula to Cionn Fhánada (Fanad Head), offering spectacular views of world renowned Ballymastocker Beach and Portsalon. Photographs taken and its back on the bike for a run southwest along the shore of tranquil inland waters; Kinny Lough and Kindrum Lough. Continuing south the road takes a winding route as it darts and dives inland and out to the coast again and again, providing some of the most spectacular and rugged coastal and mountain landscapes in the world. Simply stunning…. Continuing along the coast you arrive at Burtonport for a spot of much earned lunch, before heading south taking in much of the Wild Atlantic Way, passing through the beautiful Irish towns of Donegal, Ballyshannon, Bundoran, Mullaghmore arriving at days end in the port town of Sligo.

Today sees the route head west along the wild and rugged Atlantic coast, stopping for some well-earned “Tea by the Sea” on Downpatrick Head. Tea (or coffee) consumed the ride continues following the spectacular and rugged coast roads towards lunch stop for the day at the most westerly pub in Europe, Gieltys Bar on Achill Island. Lunch eaten, photos taken and it's time to hit the road again for a sensational 60-mile ride to the timeless and picturesque village of Leenane. Your accommodation for the night is the Leenane Hotel sitting peacefully at the head of Killary Harbour, Ireland's one and only Fjord, surrounded by hills and mountains the hotel and village nestle under the Maamtrasna and Maamturk mountains on the Galway-Mayo border. A truly magical place to spend the night.

The remote ever-changing landscapes, majestic mountains, twisting roads, towering clifftops, and much more besides, make this section of the Irish coast and the Wild Atlantic Way one of the finest riding routes in Europe. From leaving the tranquillity of Leenane behind to arriving at the calm of Spanish Point on the shore of Moores Bay, in our humble opinion this ranks as one of the best days we’ve ridden on a motorcycle. Leaving Spanish Point and the drama of yesterday behind, the beginning of today’s route flows through low lying hills and pasture, before heading towards the mighty Shannon Estuary and the ferry crossing from Killimer in Co Clare to Tarbert in Co Kerry. Heading south, again tracing a route along the glorious ever-changing coastline, arriving for lunch at the Beach Front Cafe in the tiny village of Fenit. Following lunch, the route continues skirting the coast exploring the area to its fullest, arriving for photographs at Dunmore Head, mainland Irelands westernmost point and one of the westernmost points of Europe. A cup of coffee and a 50-mile run along the coast and inland to days end at Killarney on the northeastern shore of Lough Leane.

Today you leave Killarney riding the shores of Lough Leane towards Upper Lough and Molls Gap. Heading north and west into open sparsely populated country, you are now in the wild west of Ireland, an area exposed to the sometimes wild, but always varying, moods of the Atlantic Ocean. Riding the ring of Kerry cross country and along coast, you will ride south again onto the Beara Peninsula and witness the true beauty of this remote area of Co Cork.

Leaving the tranquil town of Kenmare behind, today sees the route taking its final run south into Co Cork. Riding the most southwestern points of Co Cork, an area of wild moorland, hills, mountains, rivers, and stunning coast, today you will witness all the area has to offer over 185 miles of glorious Irish roads, without doubt another day to remember. Your accommodation for the evening is in the charming village of Blarney. Famous for its Castle and “The Blarney Stone”, By kissing the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle, it is claimed that one can receive the "Gift of the Gab" (eloquence, or skill at flattery or persuasion). Blarney is a charming and characterful town with restaurants providing superb food, fine whisky, and beers, and of course the craic!

Having experienced true Irish hospitality, the final day of your Irish Adventure departs and it's another glorious morning of travelling wonderful roads, witnessing dramatic constantly changing landscapes as you pass through 3 of Ireland's unique Counties; Co Cork, Co Waterford into Co Wexford and onto Rosslare Harbour for the ferry crossing to Fishguard. The final leg of ‘Irresistible Ireland’ has arrived, riding from Fishguard to your final hotel of this adventure through truly “Irresistible Ireland” at Pembroke.
